you are right rob, i had a gap which was filled by the peavey.
wanted something with a front pup and floyd rose.
the strat is having some dimarzios in soon ie when i get a new pickguard.

by the time it was taken i was fed up with picture taking!

yeh the variax is cool everybody should have one, just drop the notion that it sounds dead like a 57 strat or whatever and get on with playing it and it becomes superb!
