Hi there !

Anyone interested in my Akai DPS 16i Hard Disk recorder ?

Its an absolute shame !! I have hardly ever used it.

Records 16 tracks CD quality or 8 tracks DVD quality.
Easy to use. 20GB hard drive. Onboard effects

Thought I'd ask anyway.

Hi there !!

Not quite what its worth !!

Cost me £999 - and thats when the price had come way down and when they added a 20GB hard drive. Unlike buying a guitar, these things drop in value more as new products overtake the old ones within a year or three !

Not doing a good job selling, am I !!! ???

However, you still got 16 separate channels, 16 separate volume controls and lots of gizmos. I've also got a SCSI card and SCSI cable to connect it up to the PC. As far as I remember, you can control everything via your PC if you want. It doesn't have a CD writer on board - but these days ALL PC's do !! (Not 3-4 years ago though !!)

How does £ 400 sound (plus the SCSI card and cable) ?
I've also got the review of it cut out from the "Sound on Sound" mag.

Its still quite new. I haven't recorded much onto it. It is quite easy to use too. Interested anyone ?

I have bought and sold on eBay - "snakehips81" is my username, if you wanna check out my 100% feedback perfect score, for some assurance.

Might be tempted to sell my Fender (Hot Rod series) Deluxe 40 watt valve amp too. (1x 12" speaker, loud as hell, thick valve tone).
