I owe this one to Stew all that Gary Moore stuff so I though this months challenge would be about feeling and phrasing!!
I chose this track in the style of Gary Moore in this challenge you get the chance for longer solos I took the first part so I only need 3 players this time!

PLEASE DON'T TRY AND SHRED THIS !!!!!

This is a chance to show how you can play with pure feeling don't play from your head play from your heart ??

Let me know who would like to be involved in this months Zombo Challenge ???

Visco I thought your licks and timing where spot on mate but I thought you where in the wrong key or your guitar was out of tune, this is not a put down and if it was me I would want to know but great effort.

Hey Visco good effort mate ........... but !! Sorry I am going to have to agree with Rob in some ways here. Hopefully you wont take this to heart and get upset by what I have to say. Some of the notes did sound somewhat out of key, not sure whether that is a tuning or key problem. You are also still not quite getting those bends to go fully to where they should, it's so important to get them bent to the correct pitch, otherwise it's just not worth putting them in as it Will drag your solo down. Like I say I hope you take this the wrong way as it is meant to be constructive rather destructive. On the whole I have heard you play better and some of the stuff you were jamming to this track in the Jamroom the other night was better. Still a good effort though as I know this kind of thing is pretty new to you, so I have to give you credit for not only being brave enough to give it a go, but also brave enough to follow Zombo, he's a tough act for any of the guys on this site to follow.

Despite the criticisms thats still a big well done mate.

Neal.

You probably know me well enough now, from those late nights and early mornings in the jamroom, to know that I am not going to be over critical of other peoples playing. I just know that when you listen this back again, say tomorow, or in a couple of days time, you would probably be a bit disappointed yourself.

So give it another shot ............. it had to be about knowing you have given it your best shot. :thumb:

Farley ....... indeed COOL soloing there, loads of different things, like that cleaner tone too and space in there for the solo to generate that soulful vibe. Nice one man.

Farl, you made me scared to post....

Just heared your contribution and it's really cool!

I think I have some time today or tomorrow to mess up the last part...

I'll end the song, but I think the best parts are already played.

And to Visco: I haven't heared the critisized part, but you can be proud of your contribution now!

One thing I like about all of you is your modesty you never brag or try to be something your not, we are just part of a forum that wants to enjoy each others contributions!
There is no need to feel inferior I am proud of you all and what you've done on this track and Marcel will do us proud too!!

Here's my contribution...

I planned in that I could fart around for some time, but you when you have little kids.... They consume all your time...

So here's my contribution. The part is so nice you can make 1000 contributions, but my fingers were getting cold, just below the roof on this cold ceiling....

Anyway... Enjoy, or not!

Great stuff there siN .............. In fact great stuff by all the guys om this jam, from the most seasoned guitar players to the relative noobies. Just shows if you can hook yourslef into the feel of a good backing track and let yourself "go with the flow" it can bring out that inner feeling which shows in your playing. Well done guys and well done Zombo for picking out a great backing. I think that has brought out a bit of soul in everyone here and helped them to produce some inspired solos.

My pleasure Zap I am made up when others can enjoy playing such an incredible instrument as the guitar!!
