Hi there Stewbert !
Bye the way, whats the "bert" bit for ?
Nothing to do with your old nickname I suspect !!
To think of it, I didn't get a guitar when I got engaged !
Well, not from her.
And the wallet was weak after the engagement ring purchase.
Recovered since !
By the way, ...
LARGER PICTURES STEWBERT !!!!
I use www.photobucket.com
If your pic is too big to start with - it resizes it itself - no faffing around trying to resize it yourself.
My pics were from a 4 meg camera, I cropped some photos a little (to remove unwanted areas of photo), but didn't attempt to reduce file sizes
I think they come out well - try it Stew. Lets see them guitars.
Non trem bridge on one eh ? I'm impressed !!
Stew why do we not here you play mate. With guitars like that bloody hell lets here some tone !!!
Hi Rich did you click on the thumbnails to enlarge or did you think the enlarged pictures were too small also? I struggled after taking on 5.2MP to reduce these for attachments....how do you pictures come up as large picture rather than thumnail that is clicked on...do you click upload from URL when you attach your pictures. I activated photobucets account just now so I'll talk to you tonight some time my msn is stewmunny@btinternet.com same as my email address.
Stew
PS. Rich we should talk about this blues festival because I probably would come down too and I know Zappafan is keen to go as well. No doubt more of the guys would go along.

I am bidding my time ROB  quietly honing my skills then I'll blow everyone away (NOT!!).
No being truthful Rob like Farley it is a confidence thing that when I am noodling away in the jamroom with no sound can play some quite cool stuff but the minute anyone listening my finger do weird stuff. I think the more I force myself to record the confidence will come.
About 12 years ago we did a dental revue show with some comedy sketches taking the p**s out of staff etc and palyed some music which myself and Richard (snakehips) took part in. Richard was a seasoned pro at playing in front of audiences but for the rest of us it was completely new and we expected to have perhaps a couple of dozen people attend but the big lecture theatre was just about full! I have never been so nervous in my entire life... the copius alcohol before only helped marginally but the minute we started playing it was great... we went on to do the show 3 successive yesars till we graduated....not played in front of anyone since so this jamroom/recording malarky is daunting at first.
Stew
I know what you mean mate, I felt exactly the same, good thing is there is loads of support here
Sorry Rob you got a half done post previously as I had to vacate the computer at work :enough:

The "bert" is a chunk of Gil"bert" I do believe as in Paul Gilbert.
Now I am intrigued though, Just what was the "old" nickname?? LOL

I am denying all knowledge of my previous life and if Rich tells you all he is for it!! :whack:

Hi again !
Well, is this Gilbert fellow on the gold disc (with record player) that is aboard the NASA Voyager probe going out deep into space ?
(well past Pluto already !).
Stuff on the gold disc includes Blind Willie Johnson's "Dark was the night, cold was the ground", Chuck Berry's "Johnnie B. Goode" and classical stuff eg. Bethoven (I think).
Some alien that finds this is gonna have great LP to play !!

Ace. :)
jealousy overwhelming me again..
It is pretty awesome Ini. The aesthetics have to be seen as photo and webcam don't do it justice. The Fred pickup is just beautiful and the ability to change from humbucker to sing coil give it 6 options rather than the usual 5 that you have with a H-S-H configuration on most Ibanez. You can also pull out the vol toggle to get high pass filter so get great tone at low volume. All in all it is by far the best guitar I have had the chance to play. The flatter neck on the PGM is slightly faster to play though and with its fixed bridge offers marginally better sustain.
They're all really nice guitars, but that JS1000 is something else.
You're right about the Fred humbucker, that's what I fitted to my old Jackson, they sound so creamy.
I do think you ought to be getting involved in the jams, though I know what you mean about the confidence thing... my first mp3 post had my heart pounding with fear! dread to think what I'd be like on stage.
Anyway, nice to see the pics mate. Oh yeah, nearly forgot.... what was that you said about dentists not earning much money? There's a few quid of wood 'n' wire there!
