Thought these might be of interest to some of the more senior rockers here. Then again some of you younger ones could learn a thing or two from one of the UK's longest standing and hardest working bands. If they are near you get along and see them. Andy Powell is probably one of most accomplished rhythm / lead guitar players you could see. Always making everything look absolutely effortless. It is a joy to watch him play and a pleasure listen to his superb tones.

I think the 13th of March date should be listed as 'The Crew' Nuneaton, (just down the road from the Nags Head Queens Road), but do please double check this as I could be wrong. But I did see a poster when I played there and I think my mate Ron is a warm up for them.

Mark, the gig you are talking about is listed at the Queens Hall, Nuneaton. This is not "Wishbone Ash" but "Wishbone" who appear to be another splinter group from the original band. They feature bass player Martin Turner, one of the original band members, and perform some of the Wishbone Ash numbers. The gig is advertised both on the Wishbone site at http://www.wishboneash.co.uk/livedates/1.aspx and at the Queens Hall site at http://www.queenshall.net/ and is on February the 4th 2006.
