Well I just recorded this a one off one take thing to give you an idea how I play I may fall into playing the same scales sometimes!!
But I like to play stuff that I feel comfortable with and work for me so I hope you enjoy it !!!
great stuff John, I have took away a lot from that video, plus the more I see that guitar the more I realise what a great job you have made chroming it.

Nope not really it depends on what setting I have programmed in or are using I suppose !!

I meant in this particular piece ? I have noticed that the level on all of the notes is pretty consistent so assumed that a compressor or limiter was being used somewhere.

Actually I did set the preset myself and thinking about it I do have a wah frequency set on it at 805HZ so I guess that would account for it ??
I didn't really pay that much attention to it till now well spotted or should we say heard James!!

Yes you are right I like to use a limiter for a constant signal I also use a speaker simulator this thing has got it all I am not an expert with it but it's ok to use!!

that is a great vid, Im trying to get up to speed with making a vid, just need a web cam and will get one this week hopefully. I have uploaded an attempt its a bit rough, both the playing and the vid, things can only get better..that would make a good song....lol

Hey lads just a quick note for the future there is a place for posting your videos on the site and this thread has been a bit chaotic!!
In future we should post our videos in the video section not on top of other peoples stuff ??
I started the thread with a video that was fine then Doug did his people commented and were getting into it and then Zap I mean I love the video idea!
But there is a place for it so lets be a little more orderly and put things where they should be I sound like the wife now!

Yeah I agree John I was going to move mine, posted it here by mistake really, but by the time I realised people had already started commenting on it. Didn't mean to hijack your thread. But I also wanted to post mine as comparison and to show that there are lots of different approaches that can be taken to Jam over a BT. If no-one has any objections I will move these to the relevant areas.

Think mine is past the reconstruction phase ... too far gone for that

Ok Joe lets see if I can help a bit ??
I think first of all is not learning all your scales is important its like having a sack full of stuff but no feel to it !!
I would say work first of all on making your solos sound fluent by using a whole array of stuff like legato, bends, vibrato and sliding strings!
Major or minor pentatonics are fine to start of with for this I will do a video tomorrow for you!!
