haha, i was messing around in photoshop one day and came upon that interpretation of the picture...i think it's pretty nifty. Shows the different levels of the burst really well and really accentuates the quilt. But i'm sure I could come up with some more 'shopped pics that may look a little more, dare i say, "normal"...lol

and i'm still not sure if i like the guard on or off...i like showing all the quilt...but i didnt like the holes, so i had the screws in even without the guard...i cant decide though

Nice guitar! i have a epi les paul custom wich im so happy to have! pity i cant have it without the scratch plate, holes stand out too much on the ebony!

thats why when i have the guard off, i put the screws back in, i hate the holes, id rather at least have the metal look on it rather than a hole

i have a Vamp now for recording purposes, but i have to get the proper cables...and talent...lol
