Check out Curt's video riff, not what you would expect from the man, but there are some great things to be learned from this lesson.

he's a great player, but damn I have a few DVD's from him and the production sucks! lol Looks like he's doing it in his basement.

For real Zappa? That's cool, while Curt isn't my favoritest guitarist in the world I do respect the guy for his obvious achievements and I have actually learned quite a bit from the guy over the years, it's very cool indeed to learn that Curt lurks here even if he dosn't say anything.

For real indeed T. Not seen him online for a while, but a few of the guys on his forum "lurk" about on here too.

Well I must say after actually watching the Video I am totally impressed, it was a nice performance given that it was something he found difficult and the fact that it was a totally clean tone. Very cool indeed Curt if your reading this thread.

Vey nice playing, loved that unprocessed tone, maybe we should all try it, or have a jam over the backing if we are allowed.

What impressed me was the simple approach, clean tone, very simplistic playing with lots of "space". He quite rightly points out that there are times when a million notes per second and 50 zillion effects just aren't needed.

when you get to like 8mins roughly you can tell he just wants to race off!
