This is my one and only guitar, though not the only one I've ever had.
I bought it new in '94 from The Flying Pig Musical Instrument Supply Co, much to the amusement of everyone that saw the delivery label when it arrived.
It's has a 22 fret bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard, basswood body, and Jackson everything... machine heads, pickups, whammy unit, everything. I've since replaced the dull black 'licenced' Floyd Rose & locking nut with the nice shiny gold ones, they're still cheap 'licenced' items but are better than the original Jackson items and look much nicer. The original one had a rattling arm that was very annoying.
The nasty plastic control knobs have also been replaced (shiny gold again here then).
The original Jackson humbucker had to go also... hello Mr DiMarzio, I'd like one of your finest 'Fred' humbuckers please... just like that nice bald Mr Satriani.
That about brings us up to date, until such time as I replace the pickup shroud and machine heads with... you guessed it... nice shiny gold ones!

Yeah, it lacked punch and depth of tone. The DiMarzio Fred in there now has a lot more soul to it and pinched harmonics are easily found rather than desperately hunted down...lol
I was just thinking, perhaps I could have run a cloth over it before taking the piccie but never mind, the fingermarks prove it's getting lots of use anyway.
