the guy i work with has a sound city 120 he loves it.
6x el34's it turns up quite well.

very vintage. The guy that designed them went on to make Hiwatt. So internally they are the same. Known as "the poor man's Hiwatt"

God, I had one of them briefly in about 1978 and sold it for £40! At the time the only real contenders to Marshall were (and don't laugh at some of these!) Sound City, Orange, Carlsboro, H & H and Hi-Watt. The one I don't see anymore is a valve amp that had three channels from the same era but the name escapes me...definitely from the North East of England and prolly worth an arm and a leg now. The name will come to me...begins with a B! :scratches head:
