They're similar to Lace Sensors. They're actually Levinson's own pick ups, passive/active with the VSC circuit boost. They both have the VSC active Boost system, making them extremely versatile guitars. I love the beasts!

I got a red and a gold Lace Sensors on my Strat and have been quite pleased with them...I got to check into the VSC system might wire something similar in one day to check it out..
