Hey visco much improved mate nice. Goin well guys
Can you offer advice on which software to use to convert the mp3 file into wave so I can get it into Cakewalk Guitar Tracks?
When I've finished with it Guitar Tracks will offer the option to convert to mp3 for upload/burn to disc e.t.c. but will not do mp3 to wave conversion and will not accept mp3 direct.
If you can help me out then I'd love to join in the fun.

Actually have probably played less Rob. No lessons either. Just a new found confidence to have a go i think. Was always worried before about not being good enough, and that came through in the playing, a nervousness that makes everything go very static. But now, dont give a monkeys and i feel i can have a go at anything, if it comes off, all well and good, if it dont, tough tittie eh ? But it seems to be working for now.
Anyway thanks for the comment mate always great to have your feedback. :thumb:

Ok heres the final part done ;-)
Seem I've got about 30 freakn minutes to wait for it to upload I thought i'd make some comments..
Firstly this was heaps of fun for me do'n this BT because I don't usually play much in the way of metal and this is an excellent track to blow out the cobwebs with if ya know what I mean.
Secondly I wanted to say I had no idea just how good you guys really are and its a pleasure to jam out with yawl, Zappa surprised me at the end with a feckn beutiful tone and supurb playing with real feeling and he was using a suitable mode to boot! It was an honour to finish this :thumb:
And thirdly it's finished uploading! yay! :butt:

Thanks Zap, I had to make a new tone to play that one becuase nothing I had was suitable, it needed something that could break through. I use an RP50 but I think my new amp warms up the tone a bit (Ashton GA100H). Using a smidge of Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and Distortion (naturally), I cant remember the Amp model I chose. If I had my power supply I'd have used my whawah too, maybe.
If you want to know exactly what the tone setting was Zap I can check it out when I finish work.
As far as Axe goes its an Ibanez body and cheap Ibanez pups with an even cheaper neck but has a nice feel to it although the fretts now need replacing. D'Adario 9's and dunlop 1.5 mm pick.
Speaking of Tone Zap, I thought your tone was awesome, what settings are you using (Pod I presume)?
Your welcome mate..
Thanks guys for your comments :-)

No Toma, I use a Boss GT6 and the tone is one of the stock preset patches called "Crying" I'll check it out and see what the settings are as regards amp model etc., and let you know.
I use my trusty USA Fat Strat Texas Special on the bridge Seymour Duncan, strings ar D'Addorio XL 9-42's and the pick is a Gibson Medium. I cranked the volume and tone up full on the guitar too. Thats about it.

That would be good if you could find out the exact params, then I could try and make a hack of it on my RP50.. I'll post the params from the RP50 tone I was using for ya..
I've never owned a Strat although I've played a few and lerv em but sadly they cost dollars.
Very impressive stuff by everyone involved.
I really enjoy listening to the different way in which each player approaches it, showing that everyone interprets the same BT differently.
Congratulations to every concerned, a job well done.
