Got this today...bit of an impulse buy because I missed out on a MM Ernie Ball EVH :(

But THIS must be a bargain. It's Mexican without a doubt BUT a 50th Anniversary Strat for £285??? WHOO HOO!

The guitar shop that is local to my office in Birmingham has one of these up for grabs too I have looked at it in the window many times and have thought "should I" but have yet resisted the temptation. They also have a 40th anniversary USA custom shop jobbie too. I am scared to ask the price though :lol: .

I've got a mexican strat Chris and you've heard it so I think you got a good find there at most get the neck dressed and change pickups. But the colour looks good and is that gold hardware on that?

Yeah, here's some better pics...arrived today and it's spotless! Still had tags on it. Also a small mp3 of the sound thru the POD. Pups are not as powerful as on my other guitars but has a definite twang so we'll see. Whatever, at £285.00, this is a steal!
