Outside of the levels being difficult I thought it was good but I've been testing my web cam and have the same result with levels so your not alone but a terrific job none the less:thumb:

Hey ive found a way to record a video properly, so you can edit the levels and such.

1. Record your video using Windows Encoder (Or what ever you use.)

2. Next, import your video into Adobe Audition.

3. You'll see that it has created 2 tracks, one for the video and one for the audio.

4. Edit the audio track to your taste, add some EQ, stereo panning etc.

5. Export the audio track ONLY.

6. Close Audition but make sure that your audio track has been saved.

7. Open Windows Movie Maker, Import your movie track AND your audio track.

8. Select the Timeline view, drag your video into the top part of the timeline and the audio track into the bottom half of the time line.

9. Select set audio levels, move the slider accordingly so all of the volume is concentrated on the audio track only.

10. When everything is done, click on any part of the grey inside the time line. Then smack the play button. You'll see that it will play the videos muted but you will hear the audio track play over the top. Clever, huh? Click on file, save movie, it will ask you for the quality type. I dont think rick would be very happy if you smacked the quality to high and you end up posting a video worth 50mb onto the site. So select low or medium quality, give it a title if you like then hit the ok button. Enter a file name then save it. It sometimes takes a long time to save it so be patient. When it finishes, it will ask you if you want to view it now, select yes. Watch the video to see if the video and audio track have merged correctly.

11. Upload to 6SH.

Is it not possible to bypass all that malarky Shep and record straight into windows movie maker?

yeah it is, but i was showing a way to adjust your track's EQ and volume and still be in sync with the video.

(Nice video by the way visco!)
