It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my Marshall TSL601 amplifier. I have owned this for 1 and a half years and to say the amp is amazing is an understatement. Although I play guitar a bit, I am really a bass player and I am upgrading my bass rig to a ‘stack.’ The sale of this amp is a necessity as the proceeds will be used to offset the cost, not to mention freeing up physical space to locate this. If both money and space weren’t an issue, then there would be no way I would be letting this gem go.
The Marshall TSL601 is a 60W 3-channel valve amp containing a ‘clean’, a ‘crunch’ and a ‘lead’ channel. For a full product overview and list specifications visit:

Naturally you will want to see pictures of the Amp; I know the web designer for a website who has granted me permission to host a page with pictures of the amp on there:

To me, this amp is ideal for someone who wants that great Marshall Amp tone, but doesn’t want the hassle of a Marshall stack (amazing sound, but they cost £1000+, they’re very heavy, take up a lot of storage space, awkward to transport etc). The amp’s sound is light years ahead of the Valvestate range, (or any non valve amp I’ve ever heard). Acoustically it is powerful enough to accommodate venues with no PA, e.g. pubs, smaller clubs, school halls etc.
I originally paid £650 for this amp, and the amp still sells new for over £600. I am looking for £450. Consider it the Buy It Now price. I will consider all bids though, so make me an offer!
For your own security and peace of mind I would prefer payment to be made via PayPal, although I will accept BACS/CHAPS/Personal Cheque/CASH. Obviously, excluding CASH, I would want the payment cleared before you can claim the amp.

In terms of you claiming the amp, I would ideally like a local sale so you can arrange pickup. This is both easier for me and cheaper for you. You can pick it up either directly from my house or I am prepared to meet you at a mutually agreeable mid-point. (I stay near Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland).
However, if you cannot pick this up I will courier it to you. This cost, however will have to be paid by you. Roughly speaking it would be around £13 although you may want to consider paying extra to cover any damage. As standard most couriers only cover upto £150 of damage, but ultimately it’s your decision and I accept no liability.
