Now here's a couple of odd things for you. One is my mate dave the other is his 1980's Ibanez Iceman. Not exactly my guitars I know but grabbed these pins at tonights TEGAS night and thought I would share them with you.

Very cool! I'd like to get one of the 80's destroyers.

God, I had two of these...an autograph (black with mirror parts) and this VERY rare white one. I got rid of both of them for beer...wot a TIT!

Very nice!
My bassist uses an Iceman bass, very strange to play but nice all the same.

Nice guitar. At first, I thought that was you, Zappa.

I used to have it's Destroyer sibling in '85 - '86. Gotta catalogue pic somewhere.
Same sunburst tiger stripe ..... same pup configuration ... same contrasting abalone fretmarker inlays ..... same controls ..... same neck ..... same tun-a-matic bridge & quick-change tailstop.
It was bloody gorgeous, but the V22 bridge pup would slice yer ears off with headache-inducing treble while the P58 neck pup would make yer wish they were still there.
P-exed it for a RS-525 that got nicked in '87.
The guy who eventually got the DT smashed it up at a gig, cos hwe lost his temper over some stupid piddly disagreement with someone (F**KWIT!!!). Ida bought it right back off him if I'd known he'd do something so stupid with it.
Some memories hurt ...
