Ok guys if you are interested we each have a pattern to lead on.
There is 6 patterns so you can each get one. We need 6 players.
I made this one by my self so it can be a little weird sometimes.
Each patterns are about 28 or 30 seconds.
p.s can we make sure if you play on it that your sound is not to loud so it will kill the bt
I've made this bt realy simple to make space for your lead! have fun.

Zane you are a star with these BTs mate...keep them coming.
Very nice indeed.
I'd like the last slot if that's ok, I can't do anything with it until tuesday though.

Thanks Steve...I took a listen to this again this morning...I must have had cotton in my ears or something last night, my bit is way too loud in the mix...if possible, I'd like to remix tonight, I don't want this great track sounding at all dodgy on my account!
can't wait to hear the original...I'm still trying to get the hang of FL6, if you know of any tutorial material out there, please let me know.

Hey Zane and the guys, I am sorry but I am going to have to drop out of this jam for now. My main PC with all my recording gear in it blew up last night and although I had got a couple of takes to this backer recorded I cant get to them for now. Hopefully it is just the power supply that has gone but I wont know until I get a replacment sometime today. So if you can wait for about 6-8 hours then I can hopefully have something done, otherwise carry on with the next bits and I will punch my bit in afterwards.
Apologies.
ZappaFan
Zap no worries take your time mate. I will likely only get a minute to record tommorrow night so that gives you tonight and tommorrow till I will need the next bit. Hope you get it sorted out Ok.

Thnaks for the nod on that Stew, been chilling myself today too. A bit warm for playing again. I'll chill and take my time on this then.
BTW, enjoy the gig mate, hope he plays all your faves for you. Some pics would be good if they let you.
Digital camera is primed at the ready and i may even nip in to town tommorrow and get another SD card and get some video footage.(for the archives only though  )
I'm green with envy Stew, wish I was going too. Have a good time mate.

Stew , your bit was very interesting and the tone was good too. You kind a have a blues vibe to this which is good and diferent. I think you was playing a little bit to fast bro I sometimes have this trouble too we just have to ease back a little.A little trick that works well for me is that I take out the good old Metronome and I do 40mins of rythm and 40mins of scales and solo.I sometimes feel like killing the damn Metronome but it's helping me with my rythm.

As you probably know, I have no idea about scales, modes or any of that good stuff, I just play what I feel fits in. No worries about any of your comments on from me, that's what the site is all about. The help and advice I've recieved on this site has made one hell of a difference to my playing. Constructive criticism is really useful.

Stew - A great job on the whole, you seemed to get a little bit out of beat in the middle but none of us are pro's and life is a learning curve so well done anyway, also an interesting choice of tone which fit very nicely.
Farley - I can't believe you 'busked' that, it was very good and your tone was very smooth. Nice job.
Oh well, here's mine... for some reason it sounds really 'fizzy' to me, I don't know why because it didn't before mixdown and I set the bitrate as high as I could get away with, but after much faffing around with it I decided enough was enough so it will have to do... sorry if I've ruined a perfectly good jam with my fizzy ending!

First my friend you didn't ruined the jam...There was some realy crazy hot technic in your licks! I liked it it was smooth and melodic. The sound was not fzzy as you were saying.
Thank you all for taking the time to play on this Jam it was much fun for me to make this bt and ear it complete with all of you on it. You can be sure there will be a July ZaneJam!
Steve yuor backing tracks are refreshing. They are a joy to jam over even for the less well gifted like myself  Look forward to August as I will be into the nappies in July and will definitely not be able to participate but looking forward to the bt and what people record.

You wanted some advices for that old metronome..here is one I use:I set a low speed on it and I play some scale picking up & down till I'm comfortable then I increse the speed till I have with out a mistake then I increse a little and do the same over and over! This is working good for me.You can use it for rythm picking too.
Good luck and I'm very happy for you that you will have soon your daughter!

If you practice with a metronome just play one note per beat and try strumming some chords when you're usin the metronome... you wont even notice yourself fixing your "before the beat" problem... just make sure you practice with that metronome.... it also helps with speed too ;)

Viscolex - Nice playin! I liked the scale you were using, I cant tell what scale it was but it was cool.
SteveDak - Is satch one of your influences? That tone was bad ass, and that was some really smooth playin!
Stewbert - i really liked your playin, it sounded very hendrix-like, especially with that tone!
Farley - now that's what i call smooth playin!
Sixwheels - i like that tone, it's a little thin but its cool! and your riffs were killer dude!
all in all this was a cool jam and i'm glad i participated in it!
