I have to vote for Danny D for producing the most polished version.

WahWah runs a close joint second for an exceptional performance, along with Zeusse who not only played very well but also scored extra points for singing his own lyrics.

Well done to everyone who took part, there were no bad performances, this was a difficult one to assess.

A tough one, I voted for danni, it was the best produced and played but I nearly voted for snouter for the best effort on the wrong guitar. Chris was second for me but only just. There was some talent on show here so no lossers in my opinion well done guys.

All great efforts, Danni had it nailed as I would have expected being a pro Chris to, but Im voting for the bedroom productions, so snouter for me because he made me laugh and looks like he enjoyed himself not taking it to seriously.

huh, I voted for snouter, funny video there,
your faces made me laugh, hehe.

Was a great job from all the other guys, especially DannyD and Wahwah,
but I had to go with snouter, just because of the grimaces.

Wah Wah, do you by chance know a fellow named Justin John Wakely? You and him are damn near clones with your posts.

Can't say I have mate. There's a sorta Van Halen medley I heard which is really good but can't recall the guy who did it. My personal faves are a guy called Jeremy Martens and anothe rguy known as strat78...we figure it's Eddie just f****n' with us it's so close!!!

I voted for Snouter:
Really cool to join in on this and your facial expressions whenever you hit something real wrong are really priceless. If it was only a MP3, you wouldn't got my vote. These are really guitarplayers expressions while trying doing their best on an almost impossible job! Thanks for your version.

Next:
Danny had the closest nailing on this, only a nose before WahWah. I enjoyed Zeusse's very original attempt and would almost give my vote to him also... Stevedak and 5150wolfgang, you did a nice job.

The only problem with this challenge was that I only could vote once.

Is it possible for the next to vote on a top 3?

Well It seems like all the Votes are in !!! They have been counted, verified and counted again and it would seem that the winner is .............. oops sorry, it would seem that there has to be a recount in Florida. George W is insiating he won it, even though he didnt enter.

Well done Danny ....... awesome stuff as always mate. I am sure it was a close run thing though, some excellent tracks from the other guys too, tough decisions all round I guess.

But a worthy winner !!!!!!!!!!

Great playing everyone! Again, I swear I didn't mean to take part in this challenge and will read these things more carefully next time. I asked to be removed from the challenge in this thread somewhere due to not wanting to bother you guys. I only posted my tune here for your listening enjoyment, not to take part in any competition. I know it's just a fun competition, but I have a few resources at my disposal that make things somewhat unfair recording wise.....yet you guys can play every bit as good as me.

Also, in the event I ever were to take part in these competitions, (which I probably will never do anyway) what exactly is the voting criteria? I noticed some people voted on the humor in someone's post, others because a video was posted, others for originality.

If by chance I ever did this again and wanted to really be serious about it, I'd want to make sure I posted all the best stuff....video, being original etc. Thanks to everyone for the kind words about my version and for the votes! Again, my apologies for posting my tune in the competition. Looks like a tie between wahwah and Eric. Great job gents!

its ok danny, i left it in on purpose.
there isn't really a voting criteria.
just vote for the one you vote for and thats about it.

be it because its good, funny, different, anything really.

it was a good challenge anyway worked well.
now don't say you won't do any more ok, we have an acdc one and probably a thin lizzy one next so get that guitar out.
