This was originally written and recorded by Diamond Head and then covered by Metallica... my version is obviously a cover of Metallica's cover (faster and more intense than the original).

The track is called 'Am I Evil' and so I thought it was only appropriate that I enlist the help of the devil himself to do the vocals for me!

Since SixWheels grabbed Am I Evil and did such a fine job I'm giving Holier Than Thou a go not my best solo but I couldn't get a good wah setting I should maybe have gone thru my amp Oh well!

You know, sometimes when listening to these challenges I forget that I'm not listening to the actual band due to the quality of both the playing and recording. This was one of those occasions. I found myself thinking... "Why isn't James singing on this version?", when the question should be... "Why isn't that nutball Eric singing on this one?" :-)

Okay you remaining few who haven't posted yet, if Eric's 'Holier Than Thou' hasn't got you fired up then nothing will, so get that amp cranked up and let us hear your best chugga-chugga riffing!

Man Eric , your a authentic shredder. Your tone sounds great..you've got that GNX sounding pretty good. The playing is perfectly shredastic:-)

I've spent about 4 hours on this, getting it mixed down properly and all, re-recording, double tracking the guitars (1 -Panned all the way to the right, 2 - panned all the way to the left) to create the tone.

Great job on all the songs. I like the "Fuel" song the best. If the entry is over next sunday and not tommorow, let me know would give "The Four Horsemen" a go. The "Am I Evil" was really cool as well. I never heard the words to that, Is that how Metallica does it. It was cracking me up. Great job guys.

but have to say, Fuel is by far the best i ever heard, its was just scary of how good the cover was, well done steve!
