What's the definition of perfect pitch?

When you throw your Ibanez and it lands right in the middle of the skip.

Why do Ibanez players play so many notes?

They can't find the right one.

Why do Ibanez fit Floyd Rose Trems?

Hey, if you don't have a decent size p*n*s you've got to have something to w**k

How do you know when there's an Ibanez player at your door?

The door bell warbles.

I had my old Fender sent to the tooth pick factory, it's like what they do with an old race horse.. dog food. In the real old days they had a plank of wood and some horse hair - very similar to the Fender

TomahawkMy old Ibanez was REJECTED by the tooth pick factory, so I tried Death Watch beetles but they all died. A friend of mine tried to strangle it but the neck was too thin. In the end a stake driven through its heart at the crossroads at midnight did the trick.

Come right out and say what you mean, no need to be diplomatic, we can take it around here.

Glad to see someone (sort of) defending Ibanez.

What's the definition of an Ibanez?

An anorexic Fender Strat copy.

What do you call an anorexic Fender Strat copy?
A Squier.

There is nothing wrong with most Ibanez guitars. I actually think my Jem smokes my Strat. But that is imho

Ibanez does deserve some bashing for thier escapades this year. They are moving all production on prestige guitars from Japan to Korea. In addition thier "F" Japanese factory is closing down completely. This means the future of J-Customs, and build quality on Jems is in the air. They have already made a crappy edge-pro trem, changed the fretboards on jems to rosewood, and changed the neck construction to a 5 piece maple/wenge instead of the original, one piece, quarter sawn maple. Ibanez is undoubtedly look at the "bottom line" and don't care about the average player anymore.

Personnaly I am going to buy one more Ibanez (RG1527) and then look into other options. Ibanez had a good run over thier years, but in 2005 thier company will officially go down the crapper.

You know there was a time when I very nearly bought an RG. Fortunately six months in the detox clinic brought me back to normal...........

nippleEven more precise than the last time! Well I have to say I'm very disappointed Flex, I started this thread to try and get a bit of controversy going as there seem to be more Ibanez owners on this forum than anything else, stir up a few non posters into saying something, but all we get out of you is a couple of meaningless insults, if indeed 'nipple' can be described as an insult. Better than nothing, but only just. Glad to see you're so perceptive...............

Your right about the neck thing, holding the Fenders neck is like holding my d-ck, way too fat to do anything other than w-nk it, the curved frets suck too (no pun intended). Fender should start a freak'n judder bar factory and leave the guitar making to the experts..

Fender sent me an Email to confirm what their brand name stood for..
Freaks Electronic Nausiating Dorkish Ear Rooter

I couldn't have put it better myself.

Ive attached something to go with your outfit..

PS Ibanez are lovely

I'm back from two week holiday and I read this post.. come on rick.. you're supposed to be able to delete posts containing obscenities and the like. If was here when this started it wouldnt have seen the light of day.

If you dont like Ibanez guitars dont buy one simple as! Its a free world, this aint Jemsite btw; we arent guitar prejudice here.

If the Japan factory shuts down then the older Jems will become more sort after. Is it possible that JEMs and JCustoms could be made in the US??

In your dreams. China more like! Ibanez is going back to Wan King.......

And it's not simply a case of not buying an Ibanez. I've been doing that for years and years (I was given one, but we won't discuss that, suffice to say it's gone now), it's the evangelical zeal to make you see the errors of your ways, to seek the true path "For unto you is born Gibson and Fender, and they are good and holy. Follow not the path of evil Ibanez the name of the serpent and plaything of weird Californians. Spawn of the Japanese devil that insinuates itself into strange people who wear weird hair and spandex. For spandex is an abomination in the sight of the Lord who can't bear tight spangly arses, particularly tight male spangly arses for so it is spoken."

Hope you had a good holiday :D
