I think a good solo should sound better every time you hear it, I can't even listen to mine anymore, the others all had their highlights, the first half of this one the last half of that one the transition on one or the other, but two stood out for me and flowed through out and they'd be the runner up sixth wheel and the winner of my vote and beer(if I can figure out how to send him one) Tang you are the Master on this one.

ok since I cant get nothing on this one because my beer ran out and that usually kills my flow I decided to take a good listen to all the entries and find the one that stood out also the level of the player wasn't a factor but the effort is. It was a hard decision and I am giving my vote to ini because I didn't have squat and he made a big effort with the hammer ons......Congrats ini I'll give you a rep. for that too :thumb:

wow, another tough one, everyone played so well yet they were all so different...I finally decided to give it to Zane, I really liked the way the different tones and styles between the two sections totally changed the mood of the piece. Well done also on the BT Steve, I wish I would have had the inspiration to contribute to this one!!

I'm glad to report the polls. Our big winner is Master Tang ! Weeeeee!!

Master Tang did a amazing solo in this competition and deserve the gold medal.

Gold medal - Mater Tang - 47.62% vote
Silver - Zombo - 19.05% vote

This was fun and there will be a August solo competition starting this coming monday.
