Forgive me if I'm being controvertial but I honestly began to yawn before the halfway point while watching that!

Just my opinion for what it's worth but that seemed to lack... everything.

No soul, no hook, no fire, I thought it was just dismal.

opinions will vary on something like this I think it depends on my mood at the moment but it was something that might have been better if you were there...really there ain't much you can do with that song anyways the original is the best

Good tune from two greats. I much prefer the D & tD's version, much more my speed. But these two together could do the Barney song and I'd be ok with it :P

Jeez Knopflers nose is fookin massive, wasnt my favourite version to be honest I love Clapton and Knopfler, I love the original layla and I love the acoustic version he first done on mtv unplugged.

Great song but not most inspiring version i have heard. The MTV version and other songs recorded that night on MTV were pretty special. Finding out about the tragic death of his son that led to Tears in Heaven brought a tear to my eye.
