Robert Johnson: Deal with the Devil?

"Legendary Delta bluesman Robert Johnson died at the age of 27 from someone poisioning his drink. Some claimed that he signed a deal with the devil, who had come to collect, and that after three days of excruciating pain, he fell to his hands and knees, howled like a dog, and dropped dead. Well, it's just a story, but a damn good one."

[In 1930, Johnson briefly disappeared and returned with a guitar. Shortly thereafter, he was playing with uncanny proficiency.]

Johnson, Robert (1911-1938) American musician [noted for various blues recordings]

This is absolutely true. Busted tried the same thing, they were crap, did a deal with the devil..................well sometimes it works. Eyebrows went back to the Crossroads, fell down on his knees, howled like a dog (whereupon he was mounted from the rear by a passing Doberman, and no-one likes to argue with a Doberman). This is the true story of why Busted split up.
