Go on my son, nice track!... Love your doubling up on the intro sections, the rhythm type accentuation at 2:31, the licks at 2:45 to 3:01 and the general up sounding funky style... OMG, harmony section, top banana...

It's way too close to call.

Two totally different takes on this cool backer and both are equally awesome.

I think this has got to be a draw. How could we possibly pick a winner!

Its up to Father O but I hate to see you guys sweating like this I can agree to a draw and maybe me and Father O could redo this one and make it a colab project instead.....what say Father O

Mmmm. I say we call it a win to you mate, seings as you're leading anyway, and we still do the collab. Lol...
That would be the fairest outcome i think. Plus i get to keep my pride. Lol...

Bring it on!

Doesn't matter to me if would have won or not I just like to keep myself busy...can't see how you would think that you would have lost any pride with your fine job on this dude that was the last thing on my mind. So I guess we better get busy on the colab cause Phil is waiting with baited breath and we don't want Stew acusing him of bad oral hygene...LOL

Not heard your stuff before Father...but I wish I had. I LOVE harmony lines done well (one of my hobbies is trying to do them well!) Great tone; had a Lizzy vibe (without the twins) so I was always gonna be happy. The mid-section has more Satch about it. Great take on this backer mate...nice work. :thumb:

Zeusse...well, I've heard a stack of your stuff and it's always stellar. This was no acception. I thought the lead line was a tad loud against the backer but the playing was great (Great BT BTW Fatha). Loved the twins (see above).

In the end I went for Father O Blivion as his just held my attention more...nowt in it mind! :thumb:

Mad skillz on both tracks here! I really dug the Padre's exocubic approach, that hook is killer. Zeusse wow'd with some classic riffage that really worked well with the backing. Tough call, this one. Very enjoyable stuff, guyz. FatherO by a nose.

Exocubic. Lol. Nice way to discribe it... Thanks for the comments and vote dude... :thumb:

Father's phrasing is out of this world IMO. I am very impressed with your ability to express youself throughout the backing. You are everywhere at the same time and paint that canvas like nobody's business.

Zeusse, you picked a killer tone for your lead. You more stepping back in the BT, there's more breathing space in your playing. Not as extravagant as Father's approach. But you drive your point home with nuclear tone and great playing.

Fascinating how two good players can both hit it out of the ball park in their own manner.

This is a hard choice, but my vote goes to Father.

Shit, both absolutely fantastic over a great backing track - kind of like a demented Riverdance, certainly got a celtic feel to it from FOB's track..... both deserve a beer but my vote is for a draw as I love them both! Ain't life a bitch? Why can't I play like this :D

But dude zeusse, you rule like always. I think Father O Blivion won it overall, but Zeusse wins it on tone.
