How about this,

A few lines of lyrics and you have to identify the song (Guitar based songs of course)

Heres my starter for ten

"Imagine a time when it all began
In the dying days of a war
A weapon that would settle the score
Whoever found it first would be sure to do their worst
They always had before..."

Bit easy I think but a simple start for you all to follow....

And no looking it up on the web ;)

that would be Manhattan Project - Rush

okay here's one for you:-

See the screaming
Hot black steaming
Iridescent naugahyde python screaming
Steam Roller!

And no one has a real friend

I was lying in a burned out basement

After The Gold Rush - Neil Young
(btw, the answer to the Pink Floyd song is Dogs, from the Animals CD)

here goes:

Ten thousand people look my way
But they can't see the way that I feel
Nobody even cares to try
I live my live and sell my soul on the road
And I'm still in the dark
Cause I can't seem to find the light alone

One easy verse for you.

Dear Mother, Dear Father,
Time Has Frozen Still What's Left to Be,
Hear Nothing, Say Nothing,
Cannot Face the Fact I Think for Me,
No Guarantee it's Life as Is,
But Damn You for Not Giving Me My Chance.

Metallica-Dyer's Eve

btw, my last one was Man In The Wilderness by Styx

try this one:

We've seen so many tribes
Overrun and undermined
While their invaders dream
Of lands they've left behind
Better people, better food, and better beer
Why rule around the world
When Eden was so near?

How about this one

Fleas the size of rats sucked on rats the size of cats
and ten thousand peoploids split into small tribes
coverting the highest of the sterile skyscrapers

Wrapped tight around me

Cling to my body

Your wild vibrations
got me shootin' from the hip
Crazed & insatiable let rip ...........
