View Full Version : Looking for a singer: Dio - Stand Up and Shout

I have Stand Up And Shout close to completion. I am double tracking all the rythm guitar and need to redo a few parts that need clean up. After that I have to do the solo and outro solo.

But for now I'd like to know if someone has the pipes (and the balls) to try doing Dio. This is very challenging, as you can imagine. I do Dio everyday in my car, but I would hate to hear what I sound like without his backing! :lol:

Anyway, it's a week or two away, but I am testing the waters for now.

Any takers?

That's the spirit, PS! Zeusse also gives to try out. Maybe we should have the Dio Shoutout! Woo, I like the way this sounds already! :lol:

I can get you what I have recorded so far: rythm w/o solos to get you warmed up. I need some time to lay down the solos.

In the meantime, here it is.

well, for some reason I was thinking it was from the soundtrack of "Rockstar" but it is not in fact that song, lol but it shouldnt be a problem, ill probably do it next weekend.

Nope, it's from Dio's first solo album in 1983, Holy Diver.

What I posted was my cover, minus the solos which I need to work on when I have free time.
