I don't expect too many votes without any vocals...my good friend Mart let me down..He was supposed to do the vocals:hammer:

this has to be my fav challenge so far, big respect to each and every one of you for the obvious hard work and passion put into these tracks. My vote is going to chris and sergio, it is a fantastic track and I cant honestly go past that. but I want to give zane an honerable mention because the second solo gave me goosebumps. Thanks guys.

Zane gets my vote after a hard choice. The quality of the backing and playing was unreal.

SHIT! Just about finished a death-defying 11 minute 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' with a sax player friend and Sergio again...should be done and dusted next week. Shame it wasn't ready for this.

I went with Naifuzan for a highly original track and take on it. ALL the entries were outstanding. The bar is raised yet again!

Very good challenge here. I almost forgot about it. My vote goes to Naifuzan. Great job. I don't remember ever hearing that song.

This absolutely sucks that I can only pick one!!!, but the one who stood out the most to me was Wah, I always loved that tune. I remember the Army using that tune for the Abrams M1 commercial. Dam good job everyone!!!!! Such great talent here!!

Thanks for all that have voted for ALL of us so far. I really didn't expect to do so well as there weren't a lot of comments for the song. It's FAR from over tho and if we can get the populace joining in, it could be a close ran thing. C'mon guys, PARTICIPATION is the name of the game. :)

WOW amazing stuff here, there were that stood out the most, doesnt mean the others werent good, but these stuck in the craw a bit! :

Bluesgeek, phenominal, well done, very authentic sounding really.

Stevedak, also a well done version, very remeniscent of live floyd!

while original sounding is appreciated, I lean more towards extremes, firstly,

Lord Derichleau, funny, you remind me of the kid from saturday night live , the autistic one when hes excited and whispering lol but well done interesting take, and pushing the edge.

My vote however was cast for Naifuzan, ! omg, never heard that song performed like that, very well done, a selection from bootlegs, and a wise choice that breaks the mold a bit, something quite different for the average listener of floyd hasnt even heard this song, lol

I wish I knew about this before...

It was really tough to pick one to vote for. Each one of them had something I really liked. Great playing, tone etc.. I had to go with Naif's though. His just had the total package. A great tune from an era of Floyd that most don't even know exists. Great playing and JPF is singing it. Wah's version ran a real close 2nd for me. Basically song selection was my deciding factor.

Actually, your cover of comfortably numb is the most accurate cover vocally that i've ever heard. I thought it was awesome!

Thanks Kaz much appreciated :) This one really is pretty much a level playing field, I felt really confident when I'd finished mine (apart from my dodgy vocals), then I listened to the others  !

Of course! There's a long time to the finishing line and it could go anyway. I've learnt not to get too excited 18 DAYS before it finishes!!!

None of ya made the choice easy, I'll say. For me it came down to a choice between Bluesgeek, Wah wah and Zane 72.

All of you really did some great stuff here. Awesome! :-D

Whoa, I had forgotten about this one! Shame on me.
For me the choice stood between wahwah and SteveDak. Both great song choices and very well executed.
In the end I'll have to go with Wahwah I think... very hard one to choose tho.
