Ho Yea! Rob...that's a cool tone you have there! It's ok I've posted the backer too early, so your allowed to jump in too early  are you direct in the sound card or mic? The tone is really rich! Thanks for participating.

I record guitar direct from the pod using usb after loading the backer into audacity, Im still getting to grips with the recording thing, levels and stuff. The amp model I used there was the Diezel Herbert.

hey rob, really nice job there, won't be easy for the others to keep up with that!

great backing from you too steve, though the guitars are a bit too quiet in my opinion.

Here is my take...hope you like it.

Both are really cool. Particulary liked the tone you got there Rob, but thought the backing could have been a bit further in the background to let the full effect of your lead come thru'. :thumb:

Great tone and originality as always there Zane.

As a complete novice in this game, I hope I haven't stepped above my station by adding some comments here lads.(I feel like I'm punching above my weight if you get my drift....:nervous:) Apologies if I have.

Again, as a novice, where do you start when you hear the BT, in getting your ideas. Everything I've heard since being here is fresh and original. Don't you guys ever dry up for ideas??

Your right mate I need to remix, the guitar it is a bit quiet.

My ideas come from covers I have worked on, I try to take bits from them and play over the originals.

Very nice sound Rob! And excellent playing on this beautifull Backingtrack ( :thumb: to Steve).

Steve, also a very nice composition.

It amazes me where you all come up with... I've just filled the backing with my stuff, but had very difficulty in finding some decent parts to play over the fast first half...

I'll post it in minutes...

Just as I mentioned above a big lack of originality to fill this beautiful backer.

Mixed the guitar maybe way too loud in, but I like it that way.... LOL

Feel free for any comments...

I don't know if I'm easily pleased, but I thought that was very original and sounding great. :thumb:

Changed my post so I could remix the track and bring the guitars in a touch as pointed out by ini and bluto.

I think I still need some more polishing in my playing before I can say I'm a professional player.

LOL You evaded the question! Do you make a living from playing guitar? because if you do not then there is no justice in this world! In other words, you are a damned fine musician!

Thanks Farley, that is the best compliment I ever had! I'm just doing it for the fun and love of it. I used to gig before..from the age of 17 till 30 then the life of an adult came to me and put a stop to it. But I enjoy just doing it for fun...especially here on 6SH and with you guys :-)

Wow you guys are tearin up this up and Steve just another quality backer from you dude it is always a pleasure to hear what you dream up....Ya I'd say Pro Farley he's just modest

Rob: The inspiration fairy must have dumped a load on you dude just outstanding and the tone was rich

Steve: Quality licks and composition I'm stunned!!!!!

Sin: Dude I wish you would get in on some more jams you are a fantastic player some really excellent riffs in the second part....I like!!!

Flashriffs: If I'm not mistaken you either have your guitar strapped to you since you joined or your possessed...either way totally brilliant you had a riff in the second part that just bled passion

And I will get something done for you by next week Steve....I hope!
