Rob asked me to close the original thread for this and get it started again, so here goes.
Jam #2
1. Stew
2. Viscolex
3. Bluesgeek
4. Guitarpima
5. Rick
It splits up like this
1 - 24 bars
2 - 24 bars
3 - 16 bars
4 - 24 bars
5 - 8 bars
Here's the backer
http://www.6stringheaven.com/forum/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=3109&d=1162749875
If you are on this list lets get this started.
Please keep the levels as close to the ones on the backer and watch your timings as far as the number of bars goes.
If you cant make it onto this one shout up now and we will redo the order.
Hopefully we can get these done pretty sharpish as we have all had time to jam around with this.

Both really beautiful names Stew. I like names on kids which are a little out of the ordinary and not some of the fashionable ones which are ok at the time but are bloody ridiculous after a few years. Poor things have to live with them for the rest of their lives.:-D

okay, heres my take - thanks to Rob for a great backer, nice and easy to move against, Stew I think you drew the short straw - I didn't know what to do against the middle 8 where it was pretty easy to do this slot  Visco, great start mate :)
oh yeah, recorded clean with my LP :) sometimes it just comes down to the basics, wish it wasn't 2:55am, I would have mic'ed up the peavey DB, it would have pwned the pod ;)

cheers guys, that was a good one - a two or three take job! I got that sort of riff thing at the start stuck in my head from the first take and thought I'd nailed it on the second one, did a third to be on the safe side. WARNING: Don't drink wine and record at the same time, couple of glaring fluff ups in there! bah! I really wanted to hit a total contrast to Andy's, it was crying out for that pentatonic riff at the end ;) Looking forward to the end result!
I've got another minor blues backer if anyone wants to have a go at it?

This one was a challenge. I am not that good at blues in a major mode. But, here it is.
Enjoy!

Thanks BD. I had to work out what I was going to do on this one. Not real good with the major mode blues.
Rob I'll try and get my bit done before Rick returns...I turned my PC room apart the other night to rewire and can hardly move for junk just no but will hopefully be back to normality tonight or tommorrow at the latest.
