Here you go, sorry for holding this one up...I wanted to keep in the same smooth/clean vein as the first one, and I just wasn't getting a good feel with the POD...so, when all else fails, throw away the pick and fire up the Digitech! Hope you like it...

Sounding great there Stevedak, nice clean tone and more top quality playing as we have come to expect from you. Excellent.
BTW, can you PM the backer for this to either myself or Farley.

As a few have dropped out there would appear to be a slot left on this one so I guess we can fit Sixwheels, his Jackson and that new XT live in here if thats okay with everyone. So here is the amended running order.
Part III
1) Stevedak X
2) Zeusse
3) Stempy
4) Sixwheels
Cheers Neal :thumb:
Hey, I just noticed, Stempy and I really have our work cut out for us here... we've got to follow Stevedak and Zeusse :nervous: luckily I like a challenge.

Great job Steve. What can I say, your a great player.
How did I get bumped out of this jam. I have the backer and I am working on it. Just trying to get over a sinus infection though so I have been slow at figuring out the chord changes. It's weird, for some reason, everything sounds either very bassy or very trebly. Let me now what you decide.

Sorry GP that was my fault , you started the other one .......... okay looks like a part 4 is required, watch this space
How did I get bumped out of this jam.
I didn't know you had been, it's all getting a little confusing, if you want you can take slot four of jam three as I've been trying to shoulder my way in anyway. If there's going to be a part 4 then I'll just get in on that instead.

It's not a huge deal. I have been under the weather lately.
Hey Zeusse. That was a great job. Nice and flowing lead there. You broke the rules though. :nono: You were supposed to play clean tones. Nice tone though.

Sounding great there Zeusse, who needs clean when it fits so well. Top StuffI can do the heavier part over with some acoustic that might be better suited for this have it up in an hour or so.
I did it real quick but if I raise the gain on the acoustic it will clip too much so this is as good as it gets in an hour..LOL
And the other one is deleted!

Nice clean twangy pluckin there Steve, its hard to keep it clean I think its easier to let rip

Very very cool stuff Eric, nice sweet acoustic there...I love it!!
I agree with Rob too, sometimes it's too tempting to take the loud and fast route on these, it was a bit of a struggle laying back and playing with a clean tone...and I still went a bit over the top imho...but I have to say, this has been one of my favorite Zombo challenges so far, it's been great hearing everyone's quiet and mellow sides!!

Either one sounds good to me Zeusse. I agree with the others. This one seems to calling to you, "use your distortion".

Well, after a shite week at work I've really enjoyed kicking back this evening and playing my slot, hope it fits ok, tried to keep it mellow, sorry about any duff bits, I've got a really sore middle finger where I trapped it in trunking while hammering in the lid. Must be more careful. Gonna get me some beer now.............

Yep Stempy had a feel of Beach Boys meets the Doors, I know this challenge has reminded me I have work harder at playing clean something I have neglected for too long

Nice one Stempy! I think it was the last couple of phrases that really gave it the Doors sound. Really liked it!

Cheers buddies, it is much harder playing clean, especially on an acoustic with big fat strings, but it makes going back to the electric seem so much easier. Sixwheels, come on down.
You are all so very right about the difficulty of playing a clean piece. I agonised over this but was determined not to spend too long on it... s'funny how less than two minutes of music can take the best part of two hours to do.
Anyhow, I may not be able to live up to the high standards that all of you guys have set but for once I don't think I've done an altogether bad job.
Here it is then... Zombo's December Jam Part 3.

It was supposed to say ZomboDec3, not 4, guess all that clean playing must have tired me out.
