I went to see Paul play live at the Lord Clyde in South Shields tonight. The place was packed (even though it was a pretty small room!), but best of all the gig was amazing! Paul, with his Avalon acoustic and his Boss RC-20 Loop Station blew everyone away.
Paul played an assortment of tunes ranging from the Benny Hill Theme (which was spectacular) to his own arrangement of the classic; House of the Rising Sun, he also played several pieces from his newest album.
What I liked about him playing live was his ability have a laugh with the audience, which really did make it exciting and a good night out.
I met with Paul after the gig and he his a really nice guy.
If you ever get the chance to see Paul live, I highly recommend you go and see him!
