That wase my first word after my car had an unexpected engagement with the car before...

Just exiting the highway, enormous rain fell. I really thought my car had plenty of space to stop, but while stopping, the car kept sliding.

It ended up with a BUMP on the other car before me. The front bumper still hangs, stongly marked by the metal hook of other car. The lights shine about 2 meters away (heavily downward) and hangs on their cables. Also the watercooler must be hit. The car quickly gained some motorheath while driving the last few kilometers home...

Tommorow I'm gonna see in daylight what the real damage is...

I'll keep you informed...

This will give you a laugh.

My brother lost his cookies.

The story begins with a radar detector I owned (I had a license for a short time in 1986. I was 18 at the time). I sold the radar detector to my brother for $60.00. He gave me half and weeks then months went by and no other half.

One night I come home around 1:30am and he is making cookies. I go to grab one and he slaps my hand away. He gave me the one he broke. I threw it away and went to bed. The next day, I come home from work and I look on my table by my bed and his cookies are there. I move the cookies to a new location right out in plain site and went out.

This is what I was told happened. My brother comes home and goes to get his cookies. He cannot find them and procedes to tear the house apart looking for them. He then jumps up and down yelling and screaming like a 4 year old, "where's my F'en cookies"!!!!! He then storms out of the house gets in his car (73 caprice classic) and revs the engine up full, drops in in drive, go tearin down the street and BOOM!!! He blew his driveshaft and his exaust off the car. The next door neighbor asked my other two brothers, "what's the matter with Tony"? They answer, "He lost his cookies". He also bent the transmission but did not find out till a few weeks later.

The irony of the story. The original price of the radar detector was $60.00. He had to pay $60.00 to get his exaust fixed. He had to buy a drive shaft which cost $60.00. He had to buy a transmission for $60.00 and have it rebuilt for $60.00. Just goes to show keep your head or it will come back to bite you in the rear.

My parents did not say anything to me but I knew they were not happy. He got his cookies back and as a bonus, my brother bought me a ticket to see Boston on the Third Stage tour.

I hope that story cheers you up.

BTW my brother ALWAYS was high strung like that. He is a little more mellow now but worse. He is a bible thumper.
