No idea! but... a Std Gold Top is going to be the best part of £1,300 or so. What did you pay for it? Stew has one as well I think. I have a Std Gold Top BTW.

Shock horror the thought of getting rid of a beast like this. I too have the Burstbalck Joe Perry and will hang on to it as I think in years to come it may increase in value rather than depreciate.
Well I guess if you are set on selling it though...I bought mine for about £1350 secondhand 2 yrs ago. I guess it is market led how much you will get and if you timed it right on ebay who knows what you might get. I would put it in with a Buy It Now you were comfortable with and a reserve price reasonably high so it doesn't go to cheaply and if ends the auction unsold then you could always amend the figures and relist it.
Can I ask why you want to sell it? I tend to play my ibanez JS the most just now but when I do get the JP out I tend to go without sleep for days on end as I can't put the thing down...it has an awesome tone and is extremely playable. There is even a modification to the wah effect that you can have done that a guy on harmony-central told me about (think his name was Paul Wehr) which gives the effect true-bypass.

Yeah I understand the price may go up in the future but I just fancy a change. I bought the guitar from new 1993 i think(not sure) It does have an awesometone but im playing my tele now and cant really fault it.
I was thinking 1400 buy it now on ebay and a reserve of 1000.

Better late than never but..........why would you put a buy it now price on it? I'd start it at the lowest amount you're willing to take for it and let it ride from there. What if you put a buy it now at say 1400 on it but people get to bidding and it had the potential to hit 1500 or even 1600? Like I said, start it at the lowest price you're willing to take and let it ride.

wondering if it already sold though because this thread is 8 months old. hehe!!
I must get the pickup selector fixed on mine as it is definitely the best sounding guitar i own.....just need a crane to help support it thought

I used to have a 35th Anniversary Les Paul Custom (1989) and that damn thing weighed 6kg's. Heaviest piece of lumber I've ever held. Great tone though and sustain out the ying yang.

:thumb: I truly think you would regret it. I just ordered some electrical contact cleaner so that I cna elimainate my pickups from cutting out when I use the selector then it is full steam ahead using it again.
