Fender USA Strat

One of the guys in our band has a USA Fender Strat for sale.

Details are :-

Made around 2001
Fender USA Strat
Ash Body with clear natural finish
Fender Texas Special Pickups.
Maple Neck.
Rosewood Fingerboard.
Standard Fender 2 point floating trem whcih has been blocked and locked down.
Fender lo cking tuners.
Pretty much mint condition as far as I can see.
It has recently had a full pro steup and is fitted with D'addorio 10's
It looks and plays lovely.

Thsi is quite a rare guitar from what I can determine. The Ash body strats were only made for a short period of time and in quite small numbers.

Cost just under a £1000 when new, he is looking for somewhere around the £700 mark, but is open to offers if anyone is interested.

That is a beautiful guitar and I am sorely tempted but January is a very bad time of year for the self-employed otherwise I would go for it. The 2 point trem gets a good reports form David Casewell on his "how to get a good sound" tuition DVD and i was mighty impressed with the stuff he did with it....hope it goes to a nice home.
