Hey guys, I've made this backer without any guitar on it,so it's all yours to play with it. You can make some rhythm and a lead.
Good luck and have fun.

This should be fun! I was thinking about inventions last night. I may try that. We'll see how it goes. :nervous:

Nice one Steve. I like the intro. Very cool. The rhythm fit great with the backer. Nice smooth lead. :thumb: :thumb:
Interesting Visco. The spacey feel behind the lead was cool.

Steve(I got used to calling you Zane, but I guess I'll call you Steve now) :P -
Dude - I like those effects! Your lead was very nice, I might add. :-)
I think it would sound even better if you spaced apart the tracks away from center.
Andy - That bouncing left to right guitar was crazy, man!
Well, here is my take, with a couple of flubs here and there... I had a flub at :43, which I thought sounded kind of cool, heh.
I first came up with this:
3563
And then decided that the middle part needed a little something extra:
3565
I'm still not totally happy with it, but man - it was fun! :woot: Kickin' backer, man!

Fortunately, my style of playing is different from most guitarists that I know, so it doesn't really affect me to listen to other people's takes.

Rick, You did great great job. The rhythm and lead was ace in my opinion.Loved the layers and it was very melodic. Thanks for playing on it.
Andy, Liked your bit too, very spacy and your tone is getting better and better every day. Thanks bud!
I mentioned before it is a cool backer....
Nevertheless I had a difficult time to struggle with it...
Anyway... at the end, I got a bit blurred and did a onetaker and couldn't bother in trying to get it better....
Ha.... now I've posted and can get to listen to the other ones!
Here is my take
Stylefull as ever. What/Wah a coincidence in the wah-part at the end. My thoughts also... A well-balanced job!
here is a quick one
The spacey stuff in the beginning sounded louder in my ears than the solo in the second part. I would've mixed that a bit farther away, IMHO.
It's a nice job (which FX did you use for the space sounds?) and the solo was great and very fluently with some strange morphing effect in the back somewhere.... And for a quicky it is a very nice job!

I can't listen to your first idea (attachment 3563), so I only could hear your second idea....
Amazing playing. Full, full and full with guitars.... just the way I like it!

Very nice siN. I started getting dizzy. I was listening on the headphones and the second section kicks in. Way cool. Great work!
Here is mine. Different from everyones so far. Sort of a mix between Alan Parson's project, Pink Floyd and Leo Braurer. Not sure I have Leo's last name correct.
Enjoy!

Neal, That was ace! Like the solid intro.Very nice feel in the first pattern. The second pattern was ace too my ears .. I've enjoyed those crazy chops with wahwah....is it me or you have improved big time?
Guitarprima, Yes it was very different and very interesting.I especially like what you did in the second pattern..it was very melodic and the chords fitted perfectly.
Thanks to both of you:jump:

Thanks for your compliment. No, I wished I could spend some more time at guitarplaying. The first half is more my playing style, but I needed to put more on, so I set a phaser and the wah-wah on and with those effects you can almost goof around and it still sounds nice in some way.... I couldn't play that 2nd part exactly the same for another time ......
