I thought this blues backer ruled. I put in my track - if anyone would like to join in, you can start at 0:54-55.

Are there any blues players out there?

I'm probably disappointing as blues is the most difficult thing for me to play.

So I dunno if my playing might have the title of "blues".... It was my first attempt... The backing was just too great for not trying it...

Anyway, if it is too crappy in your ears, just download the BT above and just skip me. No offence....

Rick, nice blues playing.... I wish I could do something like that...

I'm more into rock.... as you might notice some harmonics....

I heard a lot of feeling in there from you. The blues scale does have a box similar to the pentatonic minor scale, but no matter, bro - Let's jam! However you guys want to do this, is entirely up to you.

Very sweet playing and tone Rick really well done and sin for a guy that doesn't play a lot of blues it sounded fine to me. If Big D or Farl run into any problems I can add something and if there's any space left I can finish it off.

Alright as I stated before I have neglected my blues and it shows so this was good for me to do this and reflect. As much as I love to shred the blues are the fundamental building blocks of decent playing and I have let that slide for too long. Back to the basics when I practice at home now until things are better.......but of course I won't stop shredding..LOL

Part 1

Rick, your a great player bro, versatile and you've got soul!

Sin, your playing style is improving a lot these days...great vibe and played with feel.

BigD, Man that was great bro...good blues tone.It had that B.B king feel.

Eric, Eric man friend, I didn't know you could play the blues...That was great too. Great tone as always and a great vibe .

This jam was fun..we should have more of this type.

Andy - We might have to get you on Part III. Farl's up next - that pretty much sums up Part II

Me - 0:00 - 0:54 (an oops)
Steve - 0:55 - 2:02
Farl - 2:02 - end

Since Steve recorded his take with my take, I guess we'll leave it at that.

Damn! I spent last night sorting my PC. Adobe would not recognise an MP3 file, so I had to re-istall it, Guitarport drivers were screwed as were the Gearbox drivers, and I had no mixer on the computer at all! It started when I installed Windows Media Player 11. Anyway, after a load of updates and about 4 hours later, it all runs OK, including Media player 11. So I'll post the end to part 3 tonight. Sorry for the delay.

Only just caught up with all this. I don't normally listen to blues but you guys deserve to be listened to when you're playing your hearts out like this, great work by everyone.

Really enjoyed it... maybe I should try some of this blues stuff sometime.

All good stuff :) I don't like listening to other jams before I put my track down - just in case I sub-conscientiously start stealing riffs ;)
