OK guys - we had our shot at this backer with the February Blues jam, and now I would like to kick it up a notch or two using the same backer, but with more of a cookin' Texas Blues flavor. I've shortened the length of the backer to 1:46. Take your best shot, and go nuts with this one - Fire it up!
Here's my take:
3855
Here's the backer:
3856
Any takers?

I always think these things sound easy and I jump in but heck, to keep it flowing really isn't that easy! LOL
See what you think. Gibson LP, Neck Pick up, clean(ish) tone.

Nice work Farl. I think your bluesing is getting better and better. I hope I do as well. I'm working on Zane's mid march thingy right now and should have something in a few days.

Thanks guys, I enjoyed this one. Played it "clean" so as there was nothing to hide any mistakes. Just a few bits I was not happy with and I felt I was a bit repetitive but heck, I'm still learning and, I'm improving! LOL So overall I was happy enough with it. I may have another "dirty" go if thats OK Rick.

Hey - even the best players may have to record more than one take. To err is human  Dirty - yes! Do it!

A dirty version! LOL
Sorry for all the posts guys but I'm trying to improve and the best way is to record what you are doing. Sharpens the attention I rekon! LOL Anyway... if I've recorded it then I might as well post it!
