Having said that - multiples of 9 are very interesting: 2 x 9 =18 (1+8=9)
2 x 9 =27 (2+7=9)......... :?

And multiples of 9 are only of interest to a darts player, but have you noticed multiples of 8 : 2 x 8 = 16 (1+6 = 7), 3 x 8 = 24 (2+4 = 6), 4 x 8 = 32 (3+2 = 5), 5 x 8 = 40 (4+0 = 4), 6x 8 = 48 (4+8 = 12, 1+2 = 3). Yeah, 10's are the best specifically D'addario 10-52 (56 low B). The only time 9's are acceptable is when you have a new guitar and haven't set it up yet, imho of course.

Well as I said 9's are only acceptable on a new guitar that hasn't been set-up yet. I wouldn't not buy a guitar just becasue it has stock 9's on it, belive it or nor even you tele had nines on it at one point R2/e :lol:

Oh, I see what you mean. Yes if you buy a guitar with 9's on it, that's fine, as long as you change them before the clock strikes midnight or the guitar will change into a pumpkin and you'll be left with only your nose to pick.

And I hate to tell you, it was my........er......Ibanez that had 9's. When I picked up a Tele with 10's I saw the error of my ways and converted to the true path to righteousness. Yeah brother there is celebration in the highest reaches of heaven when one sinner repents of his 9's and fits the true 10's to his axe. (Ron 10 V10)
