we have just managed to get 6x the amount of webspace for this site, cool or what!

so now instead of 50gb we now have 300gb :thumb:
then! zapp said lets update the mp3 size.
so now you have 10mb for mp3 and wma and a whopping 12mb for wmv.

remember you have to pay for it elsewhere so if you are feeling flush hit the donate button or at least click a google link and buy something from one of our sponsors!
it all helps in the long run.

One of the benfits of this is that we may be able to use higher bit rates on some of the jams and hence have far better quality audio. I am going to run a few tests and post up some figures that you can use as guidelines for each bit rate and file type. I'll have these up some time iver the weekend all being well.

192kbps is decent enough quality IMHO - you don't hear any quantization noise like you do with 128kbps. The size of the files isn't that bad either.

I did some tests the other day and came to the same conclusion.
