weird site happenings

startlogic decided to move servers for us again a couple of days ago.
without tell us,
this has caused one or two problems to happen.

firstly the avatars seem to have gone walkabout, but for some reason not all of them so if your avatar is missing it looks like you will have to upload it again.

then back to the file uploads.
i'm hoping that this issue should be sorted now.

Rick, a similar thing has been happening over at 101 FYI. No avatar probs that I can tell, but uploads are on the fritz too.

And this happened at the same time... Don't know what to make of it...

is it hosted with startlogic or ipowerweb?

i think these problems have been fixed.

why startlogic moved the site, they only updated 1 nameserver, when the site like most has 2.

depending which nameserver you hit you either went to the old server st136 or the new one st127.

this was noticed first by me and zapp in the shoutbox the other night when there was 4 minutes difference between our shouts even though its realtime.

hopefully back in business now anyway, i feel a celebratory beer coming on
