Aaaaarrrrrggghhhh!!! Home computer lost internet connection

Been fighting with spyware and adware, like Search assistant. I ran scans and found some files that were marked at trojans, so I deleted them from my winnt folder. I might have to double check those and see if my other two home computers have the files. Sometimes these files get replaced by trojan versions. But, for the time being I can't get on the internet with it. I still can't get that friggin Search assistant off the computer, though.

Well, I was able to restore the internet connectivity on my one computer, and I ran that free scan from TrendMicro. At least that one will clean or quarantine stuff - the free scan from Mcafee just tells you what's on the computer. It took a while to run, but at least that tells you it's doing something, lol.
