Just a thank you

Guys, just wanted you to thank you for all your prayers and messages to me about my mom. I lost her yesterday afternoon at 12:50pm. :( My family and I (and my mom!) thank you for thinking of us in these difficult times.

Danny, So sorry to hear about your mother passing away. I guess there is very little any of us can say other than to pass on our condolences. I know what it is like to loose your mother, I have already been there 15 years ago. I know most of us here have never met you but I think that I speak for us all when I say we think of you as a good friend and our thoughts are with you and you family.

Ah mate.....No words will even begin to express how sorry I'm feeling for you and yours at this sorry time.

As you know Danny, I lost both my parents some time ago so I appreciate what you're going through at this moment. I know that you're going to gain strength from this awful time but believe that it does gets easier as time goes by. At the same, your feeling of loss will feel massive and the 'hole' that your mother leaves will sometimes feel that its never going to be filled.

Remember the good times Danny as this will help you though the hard times ahead. Remember that you have friends here on 6SH who will always be here to listen if you ever feel the need to talk.

Danny - I share in your sorrow, bro. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my sister over fifteen years ago - she was 29. It got better over time, though. Keep yourself busy, and around friends and family.

I just read this for the first time my heart goes out to you Bro, mothers are very special mine will be 82 soon I dread the thought of it myself.
Having lost my father in 1993 I can have some empathy with you!
Of course the sting of death is very painful as we are not able to visit or see our lost ones, death is so sudden, I don't know if she was ill or if her death was sudden.
But Danny you have become a very special friend not just to me but to all of us here for your relentless advice and help you offer to us all !!
We all love you to bits here and it's a bit like a tooth ache it's only one tooth aching but the whole body suffers and thats why you have so many replies!
You are an inspiration to many of us here Danny and we feel your loss too and mine as well as everybodies are with you my friend, probably as you read through these comments tears may come to your eyes, but you are one in a million Danny Danzi and we have the privilege of being your friend.

Thank you all so much for the kind words and support. I also thank you for the prayers and concerns all through her illness. It's really made a difference for me. Also, for all of you that have lost a loved one, you know how I feel right now. I too am sorry for your losses and wish I could have been there for you during that time. I apologize in advance if anyone thought this thread was a downer, but I think talking about it and reaching out has really helped me and I thank you for that. I love all you guys also and you have become inspirations to me not just in your guitar playing, but as good friends whom I totally respect and can relate to. Thanks John. I don't think anyone can really deal with stuff like this to be honest.
