Well a few of us had a crack at this backer. Not as easy to play on as it first seemed as I soon discovered.

Now it''s your turn to listen and cast your votes for your favourite effort.

Here are the links to the tracks.

Well I narrowed down to three and gave each a good listen and the nod goes to Rick L, next time I'm listening to the competition before I do mine.

My votes in too.

I just want to thank everyone for having a go at this. I know it's not the kind of jam that we normally go for and that in itself presented quite a few challenges with recording, composition and tone selection. I think everyone did a grand job though.

My vote has been cast also...tough job as every entry offered something different and would have been a worthy winner in its own right.

Well done you guys that took part. :jump:

All were exceptional and I wish I could have come up with something half as good as any of these, such was the high standard.

As is the case with these little fun contests, a winner must be elected, to this end I have made my decision.

Not the best in terms of production, or tone for that matter, but the one that 'spoke' to me by way of its clever structured composition and sense of feeling was (drum roll please) Kirk's, so you get my vote this time, well done dude.

My vote has gone to Zap, the variation in instruments kept me interested as a listener and the tone you got Zap was excellent.

Nevertheless, excellent all around guys.

Cheers Shep. Thats exactly what I was attempting to do, I knew it was a bit of a long track and needed some sort of variation in it.

BTW, good to see you back from ya hols mate.
