OK all you pluckers - time to vote on this one! Do you want this to be a jam or a free-for-all battle?!! This one is for shredders and non-shredders alike!

Here's the backer:

Battle, only because I think they get more attention and consquently more feedback than the jams and at this stage feedback and critique are more what I'm interested in rather than who wins the battle

Well said Barry, I would go for battle too for the same reasons you stated.

Battle for me as well, not for the voting aspect but for the "hidden" composing and the release all at the same time. Makes it more interesting. Got to have a deadline we stick with though.....

Start practicing/noodling up, and getting your bits together - This one is for anything between 1:30 to 2:00 minutes long. Use the posted backer - anything goes! Same as before - I'll announce when you should email me your parts. When the time comes, please have your bits ready to be emailed to me by October 30. I'll be giving you guys a periodic reminder, so you'll have plenty of advance notice to get your bits together by the Oct. 30 deadline!

I had a quick second last night and grabbed the file. I already started but it is going to be 5 minutes and 23 seconds long. Is that to long? This one will blow you away though.

Well I think I broke the time limit just a bit. My track is 5 1/2 minutes. A very cool 5 1/2 minuts though. (I think anyway). You'll have to be the judge.

Looking forward to hearing all the others!

Hadn't got a clue what to do with this so I just pressed record and noodled away. :argh1:

This one is TOTALLY different than anything I've done so far.
The lead may seem off but it is intentional. I even used my cell phone to do a recording for this.

Nice tone Neal. A very haunting one. Your riffs fit very well with the mood of the holiday. :thumb: :thumb:

Cool motive Norman! Very nice! I like how you deviate with the different changes and the dual lead rocks!

You know what.... I entireley missed the point here. I just played over the BT, not even realising (even with the name) that it is Haloween! LOL I guess it means less to some of us er cough "older folk" this side of the pond! LOL So... what you got was a rough old attempt at a few Rock licks which, listening back, I think "could have tried harder" as my old teachers used to write on my reports, may be appropriate! LOL
I'll pay attention next time.... promise!

Anyway.... Mother and I are really looking forward to Haloween.... now you have reminded us....
