hmmm, just how easy did you make that look.
surprisingly minimalistic ie not much movement!
do you play with a band ash?

ashilan, Seeing someone play like that makes me wonder how I have the nerve to be in a band. I take "simple" solos that I've played over and over and still screw them up!

how long u been playin mate? i'v just decided i want to play as fast as paul gilbert and so far i'v made little progress. i can do semi-quavers at about 150bpm picking but even thats just a few licks. do you have any tips on practice or anything as a lot of practice routines i'v seen on the internet seen to be not very effective.

thanks for checkin it out 20 years around. but a lot of practice in between.. it's not about the years but the amount of constructive time you use in them to practice...

Practicing good positioning and picking might help you attain that....but be patient...give and take a few years....cheers.

You should start sweeping now man it takes so bl**dy long to get it real fast and in time with a beat, it improves your technique too if your a lefty like me who needs a lot of right hand work. For Arpeggios try E G B for Em or E G# B for E Major.

That was very nice.... And great to keep falling back on some slower melody part for making it some real stuff and not only fretmasturbating....
But, can you slow down that about 25 times..... Amazing.....
unbelievable, was completely gobsmacked when I saw this
