View Full Version : A very different team challenge
3 tracks differing styles
all long tracks so what i want you to do is to get a team together and play all 3.
so that means a team, 2 people or more
then between you select and play a track from the 3 supplied.
then we vote, simple really.
what you need to do now is sneak off and blag yourself a team to play on these.
keep your team secret but when you have it assembled the elected spokesman says ready.
when we have enough teams up and running and the tracks are ready then we have a vote.
fair enough!!
the 3 tracks are very different and there is nothing in the rules that says you can't be on all 3 tracks or in more than one team.
the good thing about it being teams is if you can't come up with anything another team member could share an idea with you.
i think i can speak for the the other guys but this one might be worthy of a prize somehow or other, no promises here but we'll get our heads together..

we will probably have to set a time limit on it and it might evolve rules wise as it goes on.
but i think i would be crawling though the members list and sending a few private messages out get your teams together.

I like track 1, but I've already done track2 before, and I need my left index finger to heal for Zombo's jam.
Whoever wants to do the #2 bt, the first to PM me, I already have a take recorded. Maybe we can trade solos back and forth, kind of fade in and out between the two.

To be honest I had forgotten.... shame on me! I recieved a PM and will get onto it on Thursday night with a bit of luck. Doing the travelling salesman thing tomorrow, calling in at Guitarzone to meet Chris and hopefully pick up a 12 string, then a presentation and a night in Hull!! Bugger! LOL then Milton Keynes and home again! So... Thurday night hopefully...

Cheers Zapp. Chris has got a Garrison in for me, like the one on his site but a solid spruce top job at a bargain price of around £240 to £250. I thought it was worth a bit more for a solid top. I guess I'll also take a hard case off his hands as well. I'll put the pressure on him to post something, you are right, it has been a long time! LOL
Now.... all I have to do is learn how to tune a 12 string!! LOL

This one never took hold for some reason. I'll team with anyone with track 2. Maybe change the rules though? Have a team of two or more and just have one basic drum beat and make it a creative collaboration challenge.
i to want track 2 after rick L jammed it in the jam room

That's the one that Danny D did after redoing it in a different key. Me and Farl were going to do that one, but then everyone lost interest, lol.
so then so me and GP then you farl and danny, we need somebody else robert, maybe 2 more..
