I guess it's kinda an event, since it's Donna's first solo effort... :-)

It features the three vocal tracks from Club Voodoo, Fire In Your Liberty from Leap Of Face, and the newly-written title track, which we dedicated to the Stop Child Executions Campaign (the lyrics say it all).

I just got round to this Graham. Very nice!! She has a voice that is reminiscent of a bygone golden erea of female vocals. (a bit Heart like if you don't mind me saying) Anyhow.. It is meant in a good way, the style of voice is really good and stylish rather than the bloody R & B warbling that I generally hear with female vocals. I like it a lot and will be ordering my copy later today. I've got to ask.... is that your guitar playing?? Awesome stuff whether it is or not.

Thanks mate. :-) Compliment taken - Donna has been compared to Ann Wilson (Heart) on more than occasion, and rightly so - D rocks, IMHO. :worthy:

Oh, and yes - that's me doing the music and the odd backing vocal. :-)

Very Heartish

Dude - congrats to you and Donna - killer tunes! Out of all the samples I heard, my favorite is "Walk On Water". That tune just plain rocks IMHO.

My CD's arrived yesterday and had the pleasure of listening to them all day as I had to drive over 300 miles between surveys.

Beautiful stuff on all three cd's and I have to say, I agree that your wife does sound like Annie Wilson, which in my mind, isnt a bad thing at all. But I found her tracks on the cd of a higher callibre than normal Heart stuff. Not so commercial as Heart and again, I don't think thats a bad thing as far as I am personally concerned.

Great guitar playing of course and would probably put 'Leap of Face' in my top 5 albums that Ive bought this year.

Well done Graham and maybe, if I ever get this bloody visa thingy sorted, you'll gig in Brisbane and you can give me lots of free gifts!!!:cheeky1:
