View Full Version : My computer died.........

well i was online and my computer decided to turn off and not turn back on.
So i may be out of the loop for a while, i can still check up on things etc on my parents downstairs computer but as for recording etc i cannot do it down here which suks.
hopefully be fixed soon :)

may just need a new power supply which is relatively cheap and easy to change

If it is completely dead it will either be the fuse/power cable, the power supply, or the motherboard

If you open it up and turn it on you should see some small led lights on the motherboard lit up. If you don't it is the power cord or the power supply.

If you are getting power and nothing happens.

1. Replace the RAM. A computer won't start without it.

That is the first place to start if you are sure it is not your power supply.

Sorry to hear about it I have had loads of problems with my internet connection so I feel your frustration !

it is now fixed XD
cos me £70 though.
the mother baord was bein a mother"$£%&^ and had to be replaced.
ahh well thts means no christmas presents for the parents :-P
