I have had a bad bout of GAS this week and bought two guitars off Ebay. The first is a Blade Texsas Standard Pro (black, white pickguard and maple neck)
The second is a Gary Moore signature Les Paul, so I guess its merry christmas to me early lol
I will post pics when they arrive ( now I'm bricking it till they do) and Iam repeating my new mantra..... stay off ebay stay off ebay stay off ebay:whack:

love those Gary Moore Lp's, but the big fat baseball necks don't like my teeny weeny girly sized hands :(

Indeed I have the baseball bat neck on my Joe Perry LP and it takes a bit of gettign used to if you have been playing the likes of a JS for a few hours. But the endless sustain you get on these monster is quite something.

The necks on these have been shaved I think, I dont know by how much etc but they are diffrent. I will google it and try find out.

http://www.gibson.com/products/gibson/LesPaul/garymoorelp.html have a keek at that

The neck is a modified 59 rounded with the back sanded flat so it?s between a 59 rounded and a slim taper and is unbound.

the one I tried a couple of years ago was big and fat mate ;) I can't play any but the 60's taper or I can't reach the fretboard

Great score though, I love the flaming on them. Still tempted to buy one and get the rasp out....

"I will not give in to the GAS" 2 dozen timesthis can mis-interpreted as "I will give into GAS a dozen times"

being honest Phil there are not many guitars that I feel a great urge to collect now, I did want a les paul and I wanted to replace the Blade as I had one and sold it. In fact I have sold 4 guitars in the last month so the numbers are staying around the dozen mark. But hey you can never have enough guitars

Apparently.... the neck on the Gary Moore LP is a modified 59 rounded with the back sanded flat so it's between a 59 rounded and a slim taper. Nice!

oops I did it again, just got a Vintage V100 icon, a relic'd mahogany les paul. It was going cheap on ebay and I couldn't help myself, I should be able to flog this one fairly quickly. It looks like a good guitar.

I havn't counted them recently but I have sold 4 last month , to make some room, and the Vintage was a bargain so should be able to sell it on for £200.
Just did a quick mental run through and its 13 electrics and 3 acoustics and a bass
