Well, as I told some of you, my dad and I were going to try swirling my strat a la http://www.bnaguitars.com/Galimg/Diab04.JPG.
This is done by filling a rather large guitar sized container with water, and putting oil paints in, which should float on the water.
However, when my dad tested it on the pickguard, the white paint kept sinking. It was originally a brown tortoiseshell pickguard, and even though it didn't turn out right, it still looks pretty cool
This is the result.
EDIT: well, my dad redid it, and it came about a bit better this time. :gayspidey:
